About Us
A proposal to establish Tora Holding Company was prepared in 2012 E.C, but due to the international corona epidemic and political crisis in Tigray, the plan was not implemented. However, after the Pretoria Peace Agreement, the idea that had been started was revised, and on April 23/2015 E.C, it got a legal personality and started its work openly. This company’s main work is administrative work and under the company, 6 organizations got legal status and became the first founder of the company.
The reason for establishing a holding company
Founded in 2009 E.C, Andl Trade and Industry PLC, which has been engaged in import, export, hotel, agriculture, manufacturing, and other activities, has been doing extensive work and that has been making good progress in the process but it was not as expected. Because the organization was engaged in different sectors and the sectors did not have their own management and planning, confusion and slow change and other problems started to appear.
What does the Tora mean?
Tora is a Geez word which literally means Tora/Promise.Also, an animal called Torah means an animal with many horns. I solemnly owe the above translation from Tigrigna to English is true.Our company is available to its customers at any time according to its promise; it is a company that plans to reach the highest level by establishing a system where users can be accommodated according to their preferences. Therefore, our company was able to use this name because this name describes it.
